Messages Hello Oasis and Seaquest team Now it's almost a year ago, I spent my holidays with you, and only now I write to you in the guestbook :-( But better late than never :-) Without exaggerating, it was one of my best vacations, with a beautiful hotel, very very nice staff and beautiful dives! I can hardly expect again to be at the Oasis :-) Only 43 days and the time has come! Greetings to the team! SUPER INGO :-))))))

Messages BJ/Marcus, Start re-writing the dive blurb for Moalboal! Just back from Pescador where I had two encounters with a thresher shark hunting sardines. Unbelievable! Have just heard that there have been other sightings recently as well! Scorcard so far: 1st dive - whaleshark (kasai point) 2nd dive - hunting thresher shark (pescador island) 3rd dive: this afternoon - can't wait! Catch up soon! Frank

Messages A REVIEW taken from TRIPADISOR.COM There is more great Oasis and SeaQuest review's there! but this one we really wanted to share. We came across this restaurant due to a sudden rain shower. We had previously stopped at a small beach bar for a pre-dinner drink, but had never eaten there. On this night, we decided to try the food. Soon after it was ordered it started to rain. The staff told us we could eat under cover upstairs and proceeded to lead us along an alley beside the bar for about 50 metres before arriving at a flight of about 20 steps. We had not realised that the beach cafe was connected with a resort. Arriving at the top of the stairs we were faced with a beautiful restaurant set facing the nipa hut accommodation. The restaurant was all bamboo and wood, the lighting was subdued and the atmosphere good. It was covered overhead by a nipa hut-type roof, but open to the sides. I expected the food to be the usual fine but unexciting food we had had in various restaurants already in Alona Beach. I was surprised to find the rustic spaghetti dish was actually very tasty, very Italian and the pasta was superbly cooked. They have a real chef there! Everybody else was very happy with their food. We went there the following night, on one of the children's birthdays. We asked the waitress if they had any kind of cake we could put a candle in. She suggested we selected 4 of one type of the puddings and they'd be able to do something. After the main course, the birthday cake arrived. They had put the 4 cake-like puddings together and decorated it and put a candle on it. They arrived singing 'Happy Birthday'. Great staff, food and location and the price was barely more expensive than any other place.
