In MOALBOAL, CEBU you can stay in our 'SUMISID LODGE', air-con rooms downstairs, rooms with electric fan on the first floor. The lodge is located right at the beach and the dive shop is right next door, making for very comfortable diving! Moalboal sees a big number of returnee guests, who come back for the favorable dive conditions and the casual atmosphere.
 
Sumisid Lodge is a cozy lodge that has been operating since 1981 and was one of the first dive lodges at Panagsama Beach in Moalboal. The lodge is located right next to SeaQuest Dive Center, and has a beautiful view of the ocean with the island of Negros right across the straight. The lodge has a very casual, homely atmosphere; guests dress in t-shirts and shorts and get together at mealtimes. All meals are served 'buffet' style, our kitchen has build up quite a reputation over the years and so make sure you sample our dishes!
 
The lodge is built almost entirely with native materials such as bamboo and woods and there is great detail for interior decorations, giving the lodge its unique look and feel. It features a lounge area, which doubles as a dining room, as well as a big outdoor verandah where you can sit, relax, read a book, enjoy a drink and from where you walk straight onto the beach. Free WIFI is available throughout the lodge.
 
The Lodge is a 2 storey building with 5 ac rooms with private bathrooms on the ground floor and 5 fan rooms with common bathrooms on the top floor. There are three ac rooms with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, the other two ac rooms have 2 single beds that can be placed together, all ac rooms have a private bathroom with hot & cold water, not that the water gets very cold, it's usually around 26-29c! The fan rooms have common bathrooms only, which have been newly renovated and are kept very clean and tidy.
 
The dive center is right next door! In the morning you can enjoy your breakfast and then just stroll over to the dive shop for the morning dive, back for lunch and then out again for your afternoon dive.
 
Our dive center staff carries your tanks, equipment to and from the boat. Your dive equipment can be stored overnight in the dive center. The house reef and drop off is right in front of the dive center. Aside from diving, it's ideal for swimming and snorkeling. All the ingredients for a stress free super enjoyable holiday!
 
A few footsteps away is HANNAH'S PLACE, European food 'a la carte'. Hannah's Place offers deluxe aircon rooms with warm-water shower and mini bar.
 
Car transfers, air ticket confirmations, excursions to Kawasan Falls , Canoying and hiking trips, motorbike rentals can be arranged by us.
